Springfree trampoline S113
My boy and his cousins love trampolines. Our original one was a cheap Lidl model, and it did its job for a while, but I wanted something safer and built to last.
I ordered a Springfree S113 on March 22, 2026, from Germany. The delivery turned out to be painful and took a lot of follow up. It was finally dropped off on Friday, April 24, 2026.
The installation#
Installation was extremely painful. The guide says two people, but in practice it probably needs two people much stronger than my dad and me. Even with strength, fitting the 60+ rods leaves you with lingering palm pain.
I researched online to see how other people were managing, and realised this is a general problem with these trampolines, not just us doing something wrong. There are even tools built specifically to install them, such as RodFree, but it was way too expensive, and the delivery time was not something I could negotiate with my son.
In the end we did the installation using ratchet tie-down straps, as shown in this video (camera work by my son):
The whole job took two days, and it turned into a decent team building activity for three generations of the family.
The verdict#
Now that it is up, we are happy with the product so far (I am writing this in June 2026). I think it lives up to the safety claims. It has a different kind of bounce than the spring-based ones, and it feels softer on the joints.
